LE LESIONI DEL DIAFRAMMA NON SONO MOLTO FREQUENTI MA VANNO SEMPRE RICERCATE NEL CASO IN CUI UN TRAUMA ADDOMINALE SI ACCOMPAGNI CON UNO STRANO QUADRO RADIOLOGICO DEL TORACE CON LA PRESENZA DI UN DIAFRAMMA SOPRAELEVATO O STRANI RISCONTRI DI ARIA IN TORACE...

A 28 yr old motorist crashed with his bike and was admitted with severe abdominal trauma. Although most diaphragm ruptures appear (or are diagnosed) on the left side, this is an illustration that in high energy trauma a right sided diapraghm rupture can occur as well and underlines the severity of the impact.
